Jasmine had written her list and checked it twice, her Vegan Christmas gift guide was coming into fruition. She smiled wistfully, the rain fogging up her window, looking into her crystal ball of cruelty free gifts that would make her loved ones smile. It was all coming together now, she had nailed the vegan food and drink, and delighted her non-vegan and vegetarian friends with her gifted delights.
They were smiling ear to ear, toasting each other with vintage vegan champagne, washed down with a gorgeous oreo cake that begged for attention. She popped a strawberry in her mouth, plump and juicy, as she put on her thinking hat for the gifts that would come next. She had sated the vegan couples who thanked her for the incredible subscription boxes that she had delivered, and had sweet treats handled.
So what would come next on her vegan wheel of fortune? She spun the wheel, her fingers crossed in excitement. Could it be that her vegan Christmas would be a roaring success, a tale told for many years to come? Where historians would nod in mutual agreement claiming that Jasmine had well and truly outdone herself this festive season? Only time would tell, but she had a very good feeling about this.
Her lucky stars were answered, this vegan Christmas would be made up of heavenly dreams. There would be vegan treats to pamper her guests, enriching their wellness and boosting their mental health, with self-care pick me ups that would turn any frown upside down. She pictured her festive guests, feeling calm and relaxed, sipping on WelleCo’s luxurious Sleep Welle Calming Tea, with a blend of herbs.
They would drift into a dreamless trance, allowing all the stresses and worries of life melt away into a vat of turbulent emotions, feeling content at last. Some of her guests would be so delighted by her vegan Christmas, that they would sign up for Veganuary, determined to save as many animals as they possibly could with their lifestyle and dietary choices. She knew that her gifts would surprise them tenfold.
There would be vegan stocking fillers jampacked with glorious goodies; festive plant based lip balms from Mahi Naturals coating chapped lips, vegan toothbrushes from Brushbox, saving the planet and the animals in unison. And what about the delightful ethical vegan marketplaces that supported small businesses, soft cultured tangy vegan cheeses from Bath House that were designed with love?
Jasmine knew that the fashion lovers in her life would adore the vegan clothing and accessories that she had chosen. After all who could forget the Daisy Crossbody Blue Vegan Bag in all its gloriousness, nochantly slung across one shoulder, contrasted with Vegan Happy Clothing’s baby pink beanie, a pantone fusion of ‘rose quartz’ and ‘serenity circa 2016?
She would slip on her fluffiest blue crew neck jumper and tuck it into pink tailored trousers, with blue booties slipped on precociously over her feet. Jasmine was a vision in pastels. She wanted to spread the love, gifting her loved ones glorious sequin maxi dresses from Goddiva, that would make them feel like a princess, and put a tiara on their head. The men sparkled too, in a gorgeous watch from Trendhim.
Speaking of watches, Jasmine looked at her watch and realized the time, oh no! All these meanderings and dreams had made the clock strike midnight and she still had so much vegan christmas shopping to do! But she didn’t fret, as one by one the divine festive treats entered her noggin and said ‘look at me’. She smiled whimsically, humming a shanty under her breath. The time had come to give her vegan gifts.
Vegan Health & Beauty
Jasmine wanted a vegan treat that would pamper her mind, body and soul, and she had just the list of suspects to help her beauty dreams come true. She would slurp on calming tea, to help her relax into a restful night’s sleep once the festivities were over, and chew on 3D printed edible gummies to keep her energy up. And how about the CBD rescue oil that relieved her pains and strifes during her time of the month?

Jasmine had always championed organisations that advocated for conciousness in action and Organic India was no exception. Commited to providing genuine organic products and solutions for healthy conscious living, Organic India’s range of organic teas and supplements supports the livelihood and well-being of farmers and tribal wildcrafters across rural India. It was true, Organic India was that vehicle of consciousness in action, she felt proud to support them. One by one vegan Christmas gifts went into her basket, with gusto and aplomb.
Cinnamon Rose Tea danced with Tulsi Lemon Ginger in harmonious accord, while Tulsi Honey Chamomile waltzed with Tulsi Ginger, competing for a chance to be tasted. She began with the Cinnamon Rose, a delectable yet soothing blend of rama, krishna and vana tulsi, meditating alongside cinnamon, cardamom, rose petals and cassia in a healing infusion. It was a taste of the divine, holy serenity smiling.
A touch of sweetness on Jasmine’s lips, how would it compare to the Tulsi Ginger that was begging to be sampled? As for the Tulsi Lemon Ginger, the zest of the lemon complimented the sharpness of the ginger beautifully, balancing the senses oh so wondorously.

Beauty By Jas
Lotions and potions were the aim of the game as Jasmine searched high and low for cruelty free and vegan skincare that would soothe her oily skin. She longed for a clearer complexion free from the pesky spots that would litter her t-zone and craved a better skincare routine. But where could she find vegan skincare treats that were free from nasties, and didn’t irritate her somewhat sensitive skin?
With a click and a browse, she stumbled upon Beauty by Jas, founded by teen-entrepeneur Jasmine, who was just 14 years old. She had always been interested in skincare, and conjured up a selection of skincare goodies that were specifically formulated for sensitive, oily or dry skin. From lavender, to bamboo Jas created an aesthetically pleasing natural skincare collection that was begging to be sampled.
Our Jasmine started with a dab of ‘My LavenderLove Body Lotion’, massaging it through her tense knots, as she marvelled at its healing powers. Moisturizing, soothing and made with naturally antiinflammatory properties of lavender oil, Jasmine felt all the stresses leaving her body in raptorous wonder. Beauty by Jas leapt forward with gusto, would ‘My OrangeHint Face Cream’ be her saving grace? Caring and cooling for sensitive skin this moisturising and non-greasy blend was enriched with the calming and uplifting effects of orange and chamomile to boost the skin cells.

Jasmine often found it hard to feel awake in the mornings, and though her energy levels repleted as the day grew wider, the early hours felt sluggish, like a sloth’s perogative. What could be the pick me up that would revitalize her senses, the TLC to put the care back in her routine? Lo and behold, Cosrx had come in to save the day, with its Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.
Jasmine tentatively applied the gel cleanser, hoping that it would be the wake up call that her skin needed to feel fresh and ready for the day. R10 Labs
No vegan Christmas would be complete without vegan and cruelty free skincare for men, and Jasmine knew the perfect brand for the job. It would be R10 Labs that would be her saving grace, an 100% natural skincare range packed full of concentrated botanical extracts to maintain, repair and improve skin. After all, to create something amazing, you have to start with something amazing, or so the saying goes.
From the island of Madagascar to the Brazilian rainforest, R10 Labs had scoured the planet in search for all the hidden treasures mother nature had gifted mankind. There would be activated charcoal sparring with Myrica Gale, while Gingergrass battled with Olive Oil, in a flurry of vegan face washes, moisturizers, shaving gels and cleansing body washes. But what would D, J’s partner give the ultimate thumbs up?
His vegan Christmas began with the Active Performance Carbon Face Wash, a gentle sugar based cleanser that promised to power through dirt and excess oil. He massaged it into his skin, marvelling at its proprietary LiquiCrystal Technology, while protecting his skin’s natural barrier. The activated charcoal drew out impurities and dirt from pollution deep within the pores, while Myrica Gale fought bacteria.
Mild enough to use twice a day yet powerful enough to remove excess oil, D’s skin felt soft and supple, replenished by the pure olive oil that sweeped up the skin debris. His skin had always been clear, but now his skin was glowing, a luminesent sheen, accentuated by his 5in1 Super Hydrating Face Moisturiser. With 12 potent concreated botanical extracts and 5 moisturising oils, D’s skin became a beauty wonderland.
With argan, cherry, rice bran and olive oil, the seamless infusion of botanical ingredients was absorbed quickly, without weighing his skin down. Both potions felt like they had been blessed by Mother Nature herself, a touch of magic in every sample. J loved running her fingers down his cheek and marvelling at its softness, slippery like silk. R10 had clearly outdone themselves. Hadn’t they?

Bunch Skincare
Speaking of skin, Jasmine’s skin had been feeling very unbalanced. Worn out by the stresses of everyday life, it felt oiler than usual, more breakouts that she could count fingers, popping up on her face. She resisted the urge to pop them, craving a vegan christmas skincare product that would give her happier skin this festive season. Bunch Skincare came to rescue her pores, in its cape of plant based glory.
The Balance Organic Face Oil was up for discussion, infused with a holistic blend of neem, tea tree and walnut that would help J’s skin produce the right amount of sebum to look its best. She felt the tingle of satisfaction as she massaged the oil into her skin; her complexion felt softer, more clearer and fresh as a daisy. The neem was moisturizing, which helped prevent acne while the walnut oil was regenerative.
A dry oil, easily absorbed by the skin, walnut oil was the perfect natural ingredient to shrink enlarged pores, thanks to its astringent properties. Minimizing the appearence of blackheads, while replenishing oily skin, it really was the superhero of all vegan ingredients. And who could forget the scent of an English Garden, that radiated underneath Jasmine’s nostrils, geranium and lavender in cohoots.
The motto ‘supercharge your skin’ came to mind, as Jasmine rubbed the organic face oil into her pores, feeling its antibacterial and healing properties come to light. Like the name suggested, it provided hope and balance, as day by day, her pores shrunk, and her spots went away to live with the acne demons that lurked nearby. She could have sworn that she heard them cackle, but she banished them with one swipe.

Since Jasmine had put in a new implant, her periods had once again been topsy turvy, leaving her with abominal pain, mood swings and bloating. She had been bleeding for the past three months, with only 10 days free from her heavy period, and she craved a pick up that would help her manage the pain. But what could be the magical poition that would turn her frown upside down? Was Our Remedy up to the job?
An award winning wellness brand with a range of natural remedies for sleep disruption, anxiety, mood swings, chronic pain and period cramps, Jasmine had a good feeling about Our Remedy. But what would be the perfect period pain reliver? She stumbled upon Our Remedy CBD Moon Swings, in its pretty pink packaged glory, a wellness elixir created by Rachel, a female entrepreneur.
Rachel had suffered with debilitating period related symptoms throughout her twenties and craved a natural remedy to alleviate her symptoms. Could it be that her and Rachel were alike, suffering from heavy periods that would ravage in hedonistic delight? Though she was period positive, she definitely needed a boost and what better way than supporting a vegan and cruelty brand that gave back to charity?
A vegan CBD oil, Our Remedy was the first brand in the UK to combine peppermint and clary sage with CBD, to combat pain during the time of the month. While it was a multi-purpose treat that could be used to promote better sleep and reduce anxiety levels, Jasmine found that it was most helpful for her period pains, her gripes alleviated. Her stomach felt less bloated, the cramping less severe, and she relaxed more.
It shouldn’t have come as a surprise to Jasmine, seeing as Our Remedy was the winner of Hip & Healthy Magazine’s ‘Best CBD for Periods’, but nevertheless she was pleasantly placated. This little bundle of vegan Christmas in a bottle was making all her dreams come true, while its refreshing peppermint taste tingled on her tongue delightfully. Tis the season to be festive after all, even when you are on your period.

Lo and behold Sugar Coated had come to play, an ethical alternative to waxing that would have her yelling ‘give me some sugar’, all night long. Her legs would be ready for the vegan Christmas season, her face would be as smooth as can be and her lady would be as soft as silk.
Sugar waxing was a new concept to Jasmine, but one she tried with relish. She was tired of using disposable razors, found waxing painful, and during lockdown she couldn’t get her face threaded as she once did, so was curious as to how ‘sugar waxing’ might go down. Boy was she pleasantly surprised. More gentle on her skin and better for the environment, these reusable and washable strips were perfection.

Vegetology
Jasmine believed that Christmas wasn’t just about gifts that had the fun factor, but about gifts that would promote health and wellbeing too. After all during the winter months, our immune systems are more likely to be prone to colds, the flu and other viruses, because exposure to colder temperatures suppresses the immune system. So what could Jamine do to remedy the sluggish feeling that she had been battling?
Vegetology had come to save the day, in its green and white cape, with supplements, capsules and vitamins that are good for the environment and your health. Jasmine was intrigued, what would she try first? She began with Vitashine, the world’s only Vegan Society & Vegetarian Society registered plant-source Vitamin D3 ingredient. Small, chewable and easy to take, it was 100% vegan, which she loved.
Jasmine herself had low vitamin D levels and wanted to see whether Vitashine lived up to the name. It was too early to tell, but already she felt perkier than she once had. After all, being in a colder environment led her to being more susceptible to infections, so she loved Vegetology’s star power. Speaking of J’s immune system, she found the VegVit was a fantastic multi-purpose supplement for her immunity.
Vegvit offered many health benefits including sharpening mental performance, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue as well as the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Combined with Opti3, a vegan Omega 3 supplement that was good for your joints, brain and heart, Jasmine was onto a winning trio of vegan supplements that would boost her immune system all year round, no matter the weather!

Jasmine was very much still on her health kick, and wanted to give herself an advent calendar that would boost her mental health and wellbeing. But was there such thing as a vegan ‘health’ advent calendar? Her prayers had been answered and Get Nourished had stepped up to the plate. The UK’s first gummy vitamin advent calendar, Get Nourished had designed the advent calendar to support our health.
During the holidays, (as Jasmine all too well knew), you were more prone to indulge with delicious goodies that were not nutritionally beneficial for you. Jasmine craved balance, she would enjoy her vegan cheeses and wines, but at the same time she would look after herself. And what better than a personalized stack of vitamins using patented 3D printing technology and a unique vegan encapsulation formula?
Jasmine began by filling out a short lifestyle questionnaire, which asked her questions about her age, health conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, diet and other lifestyle choices. Jasmine was pleased when Get Nourished brought up a list of 7 high impact vitamins, nutrients and super-foods, including CoQ10, Vitamin B12 and D3, that would help her keep well during the vegan Christmas season.
Not only was each stack 3D printed with premium, sugar free and vegan ingredients, but her 4 week stack was designed to help Jasmine feel her best this Christmas. Her skin was in need of a reboot, so the ‘Skin Reboot Antioxidant Serum’ would be the perfect product to boost her skin. Jasmine had found ethical marketplaces that had replenished her skin and accessorized her overall look, but there was one key component missing. She couldn’t go without supporting small businesses who stocked food and drink, could she, especially when she was so passionate about vegan food and drink that even non vegans would adore. But who would be up for the job? Enter Melted Inside, the ultimate store.
The white casholate was Jasmine’s favourite, it reminded her of a more grown up version of the Milky Bar, oozing sophistication and panache. It was little wonder therefore that the ‘Award Winning Vegan Sweet Tooth Chocolate Box’ was so popular with its critics, having been awarded the title of ‘UK Rising Star 2019’. From bean to bar, Luisa had created something truly special.
When it came to vegan cheeses, Jasmine had found very few that even compared to her memories of real cheese. She thought she would never find a vegan cheese that would make all her cheese fantasies come to life but it turns out that she was wrong. Bath Culture House’s delectable plant-based selection gift box contained four soft, cultured cheeses that were remarkably tangy, nutritious and simply made.
With flavours like Garlic and Herb Vegan Cheese and Smoked and Chipotle Chilli, Jasmine had found a vegan soft cheese selection that tasted sublime. It was different to the taste of normal cheese, but Jas didn’t mind, a riot of flavour in her mouth. The Garlic and Herb was doused with chives and oregano, while the Chipotle had a rich taste of smoked paprika blended with pink Himalayan salt.
After all those delicious snacks, Jas craved an alcholic tipple that would sate her thirst. So what better than Bergamot’s White Negroni Premixed Cocktail to tickle her thirst? This Negroni riff deftly blended Beefeater London Dry gin with Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Blanc and Italicus Bergamot liqueur. It was this mindset that helped her find the most magical beach ready bag, that was just as vibrant and as fabulous as she was. It was adorned with a psychedllic esque flower print and framed with multi-coloured pom poms.
With colours of red, blue, purple, pink and green, Jasmine’s bag was dramatic enough to use as an evening bag, and durable enough to wear to the beach, creating a fashionable, ethically conscious handbag that was good for the environment. Jasmine smiled whimsically. The bag even matched her vegan knee high gladiator sandals that were also framed with poms poms, in the shade of orange and blue.

Goddiva
Jasmine knew that no vegan Christmas fashion wishlist would be complete without some embellished gowns that would be fit for a Queen. After all Jasmine and her friends were Queens of the land, at one with nature, where the seas took them on a tranquil boat ride, and the sand enveloped them in a silky hug. And what about the trees emblazoned with leaves, where dresses from Goddiva took center stage?
She was a Queen of Nature, a Goddess of the Moon and Stars, a 20’s Starlet with an exaggerated lip. Most of all she was a lover of all things shiny, radiating breathtakingly in the shadows of night with effortless ease. But what would she wear first? It would be an ombre shoulder wing maxi dress that would help her slip into her cerebral duties with ease, twinkling stars scattered over a fusion of navy and blush colours.
With an off the shoulder design and sweetheart neckline, this was a fairytale of a dress and Jasmine knew it. She was at one with the stars that night, twinkling away, the grandest of them all. On the moon, her friends had requested that she join them at their midnight soirie, on what promised to be a mystical night full of glamour and surprise. So what better than the sequin embellished evening maxi dress in black?
A sultry sequin sensation, this was a showstopper of an evening dress that would make her first party on the moon a sure fire hit. She sparkled in black sequins, with an overlay of gold swirls, as she shimmered and shimmied into a night of endless possibilities. Paired with dramatic silver earrings and a matching tiara, she felt like a Queen come to life. As the night faded away, there was one more surprise to see.
The Moon Festival was another major event on the Moon and Stars joint calendar, and the dress code was ‘Hollywood Starlet Meets Sequin Goddess’. She knew just the fantastical evening dress that would make her red carpet ready, a burgundy sparkly number that made sure all eyes were on her. With a plunging v-neckline with spaghetti straps, the dress is effortless and timeless, gold swirls glinting cheekily.

Critically Endangered Socks
Jasmine dreamed of vegan Christmas winter warmers, where socks would wrap her feet in love, while she supped on vegan hot chocolate. Her tootises would wiggle playfully by the fireplace, feeling the warmth caressing her toes in adoration. But her socks were plain and boring, she didn’t stand out from the crowd, what happened to the colour loving lover who glimmered in brightness? Could it be that she was lost?
Critically Endangered Socks would sort her out sharpish, with its range of colourful animal emblazoned socks that her feet could be proud of. As the name suggested, each purchase would help support a ‘critically endangered animal’, whether that be Elephants, Orangatuns or Whales. Jasmine loved that even her feet could make a statement, with a vegan and environmentally conscious pair of socks!
In the end Jasmine’s heart gravitated towards the Sumatran Elephant Striped Socks, a partnership between ‘Critically Endangered Socks’ and ‘The International Elephant Foundation’. With 10% of proceeds going towards the foundation, Jasmine felt good knowing that she was helping to make a difference, funding programs that were vital for safeguarding elephants from wildlife crime and habitat loss.
In a beautiful fusion of baby pink and pristine white, the striped socks were made from 80% GOTS certified organic cotton, while being packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. Jasmine loved the passionate commitement to being sustainable while protecting endangered species lives, and knew that the word must be spread immediately. Via text, email, call and social media, the joy was spread seamlessly.

Trendhim
Jasmine wanted to gift her partner something truly special this Christmas and knew that he had been hankering after a watch to call his own. But with so many non-vegan watches out there, where could she find a range of vegan watches that would make all his festive dreams come true. It was Trendhim that would turn his frown upside down, with its selection of watches, bags, hats and bowties to tickle his fancy.
Though Trendhim wasn’t exclusively vegan, they had a large range of vegan products including cruelty free watches for D to try. With so many luxury timepieces to choose from it was a tough decision, but in the end the Kristian Mariner Watch would be the one to catch his eye, gleaming in gold and black. This stunning gold-toned watch with a black Danish design was classy and sophisticated, a king among men.
D took the watch gently, marvelling at its craftmanship that put all his other watches to shame. Featuring a chunky, scratch- and tarnish-resistant band with an easy click-in fastener, the gold contrasted beatifully with the sleek black bezel and dial. He watched the clock face tick seamlessly, perfectly complemented by the gold-toned marker and hands. Imagine his delight when his watch glowed in the dark too?!
With a handy date window and glow in the dark details, D was mesmerized by his watch’s functionality, the epitome of class and elegance, he felt like a new man. Paired with a classic grey blazer, and matching vegan grey trousers, he perched the watch on his wrist with pride and warmth, looking in the mirror with undisguised interest. Jasmine smiled wistfully, the watch allowed him to glow with confidence.

Vegan Stocking Fillers
Jasmine’s journey to creating part II of her vegan Christmas gift guide was almost complete and she felt like she was on top of the world. There were stocking fillers and do good gifts to try out next, Gingerbread Almond Butter toying with her tongue precociously, while Innerji Drink gushed down her throat, coursing with adrenaline. And what about the positivity she felt when donating to animal charities too?
Pip & Nut
Jasmine had been a fan of Pip & Nut for a while now and adored their range of range of natural peanut and almond nut butters, where almost all their range was vegan. She lived for the classic taste of the Ultimate Deep Roast Smooth Peanut Butter, a silky smooth peanut blend with a sprinkling of sea salt that was to die for on a slice of sourdough bread. But she wanted to try something new for Christmas.
It would be the Limited Edition Gingerbread Almond Butter that would be her festive treat this year, beautiful on toast, crackers and even in cakes her Aunt would bake. Jasmine would dollop it into acai bowls with glee, and have her own special jar so that she could eat it on a whim, a smooth and creamy almond butter with added delight. With zingy ginger and cinnamon spices to add warmth, it felt like a real treat.
The almond butter also had dates for a subtle caramel flavour, a vegan friendly plant based protein with absolutely zero palm oil to be found. With Jasmine’s quest to being more envionmentally and ethically conscious, Jas loved that even her food purchases could help make a difference. With 25 p from every pack being donated to Hackney Foodbank, she smiled knowing she’d helped someone in need today.

Mahi Naturals
In winter Jasmine always suffered from chapped lips and as Vaseline wasn’t vegan or cruelty free, she had struggled to salve her wounds and cuts. Lo and behold the vegan Christmas fairy had heard her anguished calls and Mahi Naturals was on the line. She picked up tentatively, her smile growing wider as they spoke. They had a range of festive and Zodiac themed lips balm for her to try, she couldn’t wait.
Crazy Rumours was the name of the vegan lip balm range, made in small batches to ensure their balms were as pure and as fresh as can be. With mouth watering flavours sourced from fruits, vegetables and spices, this natural lip care range would give Jasmine’s lips the TLC that they deserved. From star sign inspired lip balms to flavoured festive lip balms like gingerbread, Mahi Naturals was a godsend.
Jasmine began with the gingerbread lip balm, a spiced cookie lip balm that delivered on taste and appearence. With a green tube, emblazoned with festive gingerbread men, Jasmine leapt with joy, feeling the spirit of Christmas upon her lips. Jas knew that her festive vegan perusal was not over yet, adding spiced chai with shea butter to her basket to moisturized her chapped lips.
From peppermint to ginger ale, Crazy Rumours had nailed their festive vegan collection, and Jasmine wanted more, more, more. As a Libra she wondered what a zodiac lip balm would be like. Designed to represent the element ‘air’ , vanilla cream was juxtaposed with fresh berry and botanical lavender, in a seamless blend. It was nothing short of perfection, a balm with oodles of flavour and personality.

Innerji
Jasmine was on the market for some natural soft drinks, that would give her vegan friends an energy boost during the festive season. There were so many drinks that were chock full of caffeine that Jasmine was beginning to lose hope. Could it be that there was an all natural caffeine free vegan energy drink ? Turns out there was and they called themselves Innerji, she couldn’t wait to try them out.
Innerji were proud to present the first ever all natural revitalizing drink without caffeine in the UK, made with the super-herb Jiaogulan. A low sugar, carbonated tonic, Innerji harnesses the powers of Jiaogulan, found deep in the mountainous regions of the far East. With a natural energy source, plus wellness benefits like improving your heart function and lowering blood pressure, Innerji is the ultimate drink.
Brushbox
Jasmine wanted an eco-friendly stocking filler that the whole family would adore, and thought that a year’s supply of bamboo toothbrushes from Brushbox would be the winning solution. Not only would the vegan tooth brushes help ‘save the planet twice a day’ but it would also help reduce the 3.6 billion plastic brushes which end up in our landfill and oceans every year. Jasmine was determined to make a change.
A year’s supply of bamboo brushes would not only help ‘save the planet’ but for every brush they would sell, a brush would get donated to a disadvantaged child, while planting a tree on their customer’s behalf. Jasmine felt good knowing that the vegan brushes would go towards children in need, and knew that her friends and family would appreciate the gesture too. After all, being an eco warrior never felt so good.
With bamboo brushes available in a range of colours including green, orange and pink, Brushbox also has a seperate range of sustainable oral care products including zero waste toothpaste tabs, 100% biodegradable floss and bamboo travel cases which are vegan friendly. Jasmine loved the look of the bamboo travel cases especially, a chic way to take her toothbrushes on the go, when she was visiting her boyfriend.
Sustainable and environmentally friendly, this was a subscription box with a difference. Brushbox allowed you to pause or edit your subscription at any time, and each box had the ability to be personalized. Whether you wanted an adult or kids toothbrush, preferred a smooth or curvy style or wanted add ons like the zero waste toothpaste tabs, the sky was the limit.

Life Before Plastik
Jasmine’s eco friendly stocking fillers wishlist, wouldn’t be complete without Life before Plastik, a shop founded by two sisters Charlie and Trina, who were passionate about encouraging people to lead a plastic free life. Jasmine had already cut down on using plastic bags and straws, but knew that there was more that she could do to change her shopping habits, while saving the planet at the same time.
She searched Life Before Plastik’s store for the perfect stocking filler, a gift for her cousin N, who was glamorous and adored makeup. Jasmine wanted to encorage her to use make up products that were not only vegan and cruelty free but also better for the environment too. She found it, the one that she wanted, Matte Lipstick in the ‘Classy Red’ shade by Beauty Made Easy. After all, red was N’s favourite colour.
A moisturising, long-lasting lipstick, the matte red lippie was infused with vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil, in a joyful explosion of hydration. N reported how it coated her lips in a seamless finish, turning her into the makeup guru goddess of her dreams. Paired with a matching red lip liner and a smokey eye, N showed the finished result off to Jasmine with unadulterated glee and excitement.

Wild For Dogs
Jasmine had almost thought of everything, or at least she thought she had, until her vegan friends had asked for vegan christmas gifts for pets. She scrambled quickly to find a solution and was delighted to see Wild for Dogs step up to the plate. Founded by Laura Sarao, she has launched an impressive luxury, organic and vegan eco-dog grooming collection that will give your dogs the royalty treatment.
With huge ‘pawtential’ Wild for Dogs is the first ethical dog lifestyle brand that is pioneering change in a booming pet industry. After all, it isn’t just humans that love getting pampered! With their capsule collection of expertly formulated luxury, organic dog-grooming products, Laura was commited to creating effective cruelty free grooming products that would nurture delicate and sensitive canine skin.
Jasmine decided that the plastic-free ‘so fresh so clean’ collection would be a beautiful starter gift, with a soothing super soft conditioner and matching shampoo, taking into account that dogs skin is more sensitive than a humans, and up to 5 times more thinner too. Jas loved how each purchase supported their charity partner the ‘Wild at Heart Foundation’ who were helping stray dogs born into a life of painful neglect.

Cocofina
Jasmine’s list was almost coming to an end, her stocking fillers bag bulging with endless opportunities. She wanted a gift that would be multi-purpose, that would not only symbolize a new year, new season and new you, but also would be something that she loved dearly herself. It might seem strange, but she had a hankering for coconuts, a reminder of her heritage and roots, could Cocofina help her?
In fact Cocofina could do more than just help her, but inspire her too, with a range of healthy ‘coconut inspired goodies’ like coconut oil, coconut water and even coconut flower nectar, a vegan alternative to nectar that vegans and non-vegans alike could enjoy. She began with the aforementioned coconut flower nectar, a sweet syrup made from the sap of a coconut blossom that tasted oh so glorious.
Organic, unrefined and packed full of nutrients, Jasmine loved how it resembled honey, but was still suitable for vegans. With a sweet, deep and flavoured taste, Jasmine’s sweet tooth mode had been engaged and she was craving more deliciousness for her stocking. In the end it was the Organic Hazelnut Chocolate Spread that caught her eye, the perfect blend of chocolate and hazelnut, sweetened with coconut sugar.
It tasted like heaven, the texture beautifully thick, pairing well on slabs of homemade bread, as she sat by the fireplace munching away. Both creamy yet rich in flavour, the sublime depth of the chocolate and hazelnut notes sent her tasting notes into a spin. Before she knew it, her coconut treats had been vanquished and she knew she must order more, so that her friends could get in on the vegan Christmas fun too!

It’s the ultimate feel-good stocking present.
