The last three months seem to be echoing each other because I seem to say the same thing every month and that is 'I am exhausted' and unable to post as much as I would like to. My followers will note that since March/April I have been able to post consistently which has largely affected my following and traffic and there is nothing I can do about it. I work so hard to earn a living and because I can't make enough money on my blog I am forced to work multiple jobs to generate some form of income. Alongside my role as a blogger I am a social media executive, copywriter, freelance journalist and an advertiser/promoter for various brands; I often work 12 -14 hour days before heading to either an ... read more

How To Get Sponsored Posts
Whether you are blogging as a hobby, are a full fledged professional or are looking to monetize your blog, getting sponsored posts for your blog is no easy feat. Sponsored posts can often be far and few between and for many bloggers looking to go into blogging full time does not provide enough income to live on. Sponsored posts are one of the most popular ways of monetizing blogs and these can be both pre- written and self-written content in exchange for monetary value. The prices of sponsored content can vary but are usually dependent on your DA ( Domain Authority, usually interlinked to Page Authority), backlinks, traffic, engagement and writing capabilities, although exclusively DA and ... read more

Dear Homophobe
Dear Homophobe, We haven't spoken in at least a year but your words still leave a bitter taste on my lips. Remember when you told me that my LGBTQ friends would burn in hell because they had abhorrent desire and that I would burn alongside them because I support a 'false ideal' of love? You would laugh, quite manically as you pondered the plausibility of my so called 'satanic' friends entering heaven even when I assured you that they were impeachable Christians. I stood gobsmacked as you sat there and listed all the reasons why my friends couldn't live in the afterlife and how I as a non-religious being would be pecked at by scorpions, living in eternal doom? And you wonder why I rejected ... read more

'Am I that loser you left behind, you used to think I was nothing.Am I as stupid as you believed, you called me names and pulled my hair,You laughed at me, made me believe I was worthless, told me to f**k off,You smiled at me, I thought we were friends, I guess I was wrong, I did nothing wrong, excluded for being different, we had clashing views,Why should I be alienated for having an opinion, freedom of speech is inclusive,But I guess you couldn't handle the truth, where are you now? Feel Alive With Teami Energy
Since I was seventeen I have been suffering with acute insomnia which left me feeling physically and emotionally drained and it was a struggle to get through each day. With an average of four hours sleep each night and a hectic lifestyle I would battle through severe brain fog and chronic pain to hoist myself out of bed. Many of us take sleep for granted but for us insomniacs or poor sleepers it greatly affects our quality of life. For parents being unable to sleep means long days and nights struggling to stay energized and looking after children, teens or worrying about their adult sons and daughters and for insomniacs like me it can make the mornings physically painful. You see I have ... read more
Winning Best British Blogger With Debenhams
It was the moment I had been waiting for all my life; acknowledgement that my passion and dedication to writing was proving fruitful. Since I was a little girl writing became the one friend I could turn to that listened to me without judgement. As human beings it seems as though we have automated 'critique buttons' that make us constantly undermine the people around us but my pen never did that to me. It taught me to love and loathe in equal measure and gave me the strength to be whole again. But I didn't always want to write; growing up I had dreams of becoming a singer one minute and the next I believed that teaching was my calling. I used to write from the sidelines as a hobby, cultivated ... read more

The Quest For Perfect Eyebrows
Since I was a little girl I have been on the quest for perfect eyebrows; growing up I was bullied because I had naturally thick and unruly dark eyebrows that I was told were making me look 'masculine'. I would be called names and peers would point and laugh at my unibrow because I was not allowed to pluck, tweeze or thread any body hair as I was told I was not old enough. When I was a child I thought nothing of my body hair, dressing up in skirts and unaware of my facial hair and how others would perceive it. It wasn't until secondary school that I realized how 'different' it made me and growing up in a predominantly white school, my heritage was seen as alien and familiar. So I discovered ... read more
